Kingsford Smith Drive   Kingsford Smith Drive key to ATC’s accessibility
 
The Brisbane City Council is currently considering a number of options to help decrease congestion along Kingsford Smith Drive, one of Brisbane's busiest roads and a key arterial connecting the Brisbane CBD and Australia TradeCoast.

Works have already started in order to widen the road to six lanes from Harvey Street to Theodore Street, upgrade intersections, lengthen and duplicate right-turn lanes, provide on road cycle lanes and provide continuous pedestrian paths along both sides.
